The Annual General Meeting of the Green Party of Canada: Ottawa South Electoral district Association will take place on:  Tuesday April 21, 2009 at 7:00 pm - 9:00pm

Location:  St Thomas the Apostle Anglican Church, 2345 Alta Vista Drive, Ottawa, ON

(next to the fire station at Randall)

All members are invited to attend, but only members in good standing as of the date of the meeting April 21, 2009 are entitled to vote on motions, nominations and elections.  If your membership is not current and you wish to vote please contact:

The agenda will include the following items:

1. Presidents Address: A summary of the past year's activities (Dick Bakker), including the 2008 election campaign (Colin Hine).
2. An introduction to the Dialogue for Diversity (D4D) initiative (Dr. Qais Ghanem)[1]. 
3. Ottawa South Green Party candidate nomination meeting - a call for potential candidates.
4. Election/confirmation of executives:

             Nominations for the following positions:

             CEO

             Financial Agent

            Membership Chair

            Members at large

This is an important meeting, please come and have your say on the future of the Green Party of Canada: Ottawa South EDA.

[1] Because of the AGM there will not be time for a regular D4D event.  Instead, attendees are asked to suggest topics for future meetings and to identify other groups/organizations in the community that might wish to participate and add value to future D4D events.
