I find the accusation that Dr. Ghanem is anti-Semite to be feeble and baseless. On the contrary it was Dr. Ghanem who pioneered the idea of dialogue between Arabs and Jews here in Canada and he was and still is passionate about it. He has endured criticism and even mockery from many, but never gave it up because he believes in it.
 
As much as he is critical of Israel's inhumane treatment of the Palestinians, he is also equally critical of other Governments in the Middle East who have dismal human rights record.
 
I have known him to respect people of all faith and races. Dr. Ghanem is not biased towards any race or religion, and has a healthy respect for something called the "Human Being". Therefore, no one can accuse him of being an anti-Semite, in fact, he is  against injustice and inequality anywhere.
 
Let's not be held captives of those fear mongers who use coercion and bullying to impose their agendas upon us.
