As a Canadian tax payer and a Canadian citizen living abroad, I and my wife Margaret lend our full support for the candidacy of Dr. Qais Ghanem representing Ottawa South in the forthcoming Federal Election in October 2008.

As  Canadians living abroad, it pains us to see and hear about the unnecessary deaths of our fellow Canadians in distant countries like Afghanistan. The foreign policies of the present government headed by Harper depart totally from the noble foreign policies of the late Lester Pearson who probably is turning in his grave.

Canada is a peace loving country and once was admired worldwide for its UN peace keeping contributions. Its UN ambassadors championed world causes and opposed aggresion, invasions and occupation of lands and countries against international law.
I am sure that Dr. Ghanem will serve best the policies of the Canada we onced knew.
